By accessing or using MotCheck ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
MotCheck provides AI-powered vehicle analysis using publicly available MOT history data from the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) and vehicle data from the DVLA (Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency). The Service generates reports to assist in used car purchasing decisions.
All reports and AI analysis provided by MotCheck are for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data. Vehicle data is sourced from government APIs and may not reflect the current condition of a vehicle.
MotCheck is not responsible for any purchasing decisions made based on information provided by the Service. Always conduct your own due diligence, including a physical inspection and independent vehicle history check, before purchasing a vehicle.
Free accounts are limited to 2 vehicle checks per day. Paid subscriptions (Basic and Pro) offer higher or unlimited checks as described on the pricing page. We reserve the right to modify usage limits at any time.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.
The MotCheck brand, AI analysis methodology, and website design are the intellectual property of MotCheck. MOT and DVLA data is Crown Copyright and used under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MotCheck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from vehicle purchases.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
